ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, MD – The U.S. Army has moved the Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node (TITAN) program to a production phase through the award of two contract delivery orders totaling $192 million as of Aug 31.
Under this effort, the Army is executing an award to Palantir Technologies valued at $127 million and an award to Anduril Industries valued at $65 million. Together, these delivery orders cover the procurement and integration of eight initial production systems—comprising four TITAN Advanced and four TITAN Basic variants—scheduled for delivery over the next 18 months. These systems will directly join the nine prototype units the Army currently retains for operational use.
Palantir will be responsible for leading the overall production for the TITAN systems joined by L3 Harris Technologies, Sierra Nevada Corporation, Strategic Technology Consulting, and World Wide Technology, who will provide key capabilities and technologies for TITAN. Anduril will deliver critical hardware components and execute shelter integration under its respective award.
TITAN is the artificial intelligence -enabled, expeditionary, maneuverable intelligence ground station to support Multi-Domain Operations, Joint All-Domain Operations, and Long-Range Precision Fires providing Multi-Domain Deep Sensing, Analysis and Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination.
“This effort is the result of Soldier feedback we have received over the past four years of prototyping from units utilizing TITAN prototypes in multiple configurations across diverse operating environments,” said Col. Jonathan Lipscomb, Project Manager for Intelligence Systems and Analytics. “TITAN is a key solution that enhances the speed of target recognition and geolocation from multiple sensors. It drastically reduces sensor-to-shooter timelines through automated target nominations while fusing the common intelligence picture.”
The systems obtained through this production phase will join the nine prototypes that the Army will retain for operational use. The production order for additional TITAN systems is anticipated to be awarded in FY27.
